Phil comes to OCN from his private consulting practice where he completed a variety of projects in both the traditional and digital media space. Since his affiliation with Torstar began in 2004, he has developed strategies across the organization, most recently crafting a broad strategic plan for the Olive Canada Network. Phil began his consulting career at the Monitor Group, a top-tier strategy consulting firm, where he worked for a range of international organizations crossing many industry boundaries. Over the years, he has also pursued a diverse set of entrepreneurial ventures in travel and tourism and the entertainment space as a theatre producer and filmmaker. Phil has a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s School of Business where he graduated with honours.
Phil loves to ski, loves to cottage and loves to brunch (both days every weekend if possible). He doesn’t mind the occasional rollerblade or game of Ultimate Frisbee, and he’s always ready to talk politics. He also spends his spare time volunteering for Camp Oochigeas and the odd political campaign.
